Hornsby Dental | Hornsby Dentist: Cosmetic Dentist

CEREC uses the latest technology and materials to allow you to undergo treatment in just one session which in the past would have required multiple sessions. CEREC works to protect and preserve your own tooth’s structural integrity using a long lasting and highly durable material helping you maintain your new smile for longer.

Here are some procedures performed by Hornsby Dental using CEREC:

Fillings (inlays/onlays)

Decay and old filling material can be removed then individually manufactured fillings can then be fitted exactly to suit each
individual case. The entire procedure can be completed within one visit at Hornsby Dental.

Porcelain Veneers

Malpositioned and discoloured teeth can be restored with porcelain veneers. Veneers are thin shells of porcelain that are custom
made to fit on the front of your natural teeth. They allow your dentist to change the shape, colour and length of your teeth. This procedure can be done with no drilling to your natural tooth. This is a great benefit that Hornsby Dental patients enjoy. It is also a much quicker way to solve cosmetic appearances without the use of orthodontics.

Porcelain Crowns

A porcelain crown restores damaged, fragile or reduced tooth surfaces by providing coverage over all areas of your tooth. Your natural tooth is then protected and can function normally. Using CEREC there are no impressions and no temporary crowns. A treatment may be completed within one visit at Hornsby Dental, which makes it more convenient for you to not have to wait whilst an outsourced dental lab creates the dental crown as with normal procedures without using CEREC.
