Ivoclar Vivadent Emax Ceramic Crown

Treatment Time:

1 or 2 visits (depending on your case; advised during your preliminary consultation).

Customisation:

These crowns can be customised with additional layering and staining for an even more natural appearance (Additional fee of $100).

Strength:

Emax crowns are stronger than traditional ceramics, offering excellent durability and long-term wear.

Aesthetic Appeal:

These crowns provide superior aesthetics, making them ideal for visible teeth.

Treatment Time:

2 visits required, as the crown needs to undergo a lab-sintering process.

Aesthetic:

These crowns are aesthetically acceptable but are less frequently used in front teeth. They are, however, perfect for back teeth.

Zirconia crowns are the strongest available in dental ceramics and can be used in any dental situation, including bridges.

Hornsby Dental’s 5-Year Warranty

Our commitment to your dental health extends beyond the treatment itself. With our 5-year warranty, you can have peace of mind knowing that your dental crown is covered for any mechanical failures, such as fractures or de-bonds. To qualify for the warranty, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
  2. Maintain a routine of two 6-monthly dental check-ups and cleans at any of our practice locations during the warranty period.
  3. The warranty covers the free replacement of your dental crown only if it fails due to mechanical reasons. The warranty does not cover failures resulting from trauma, accidents, dental decay, gum disease, or the need for root canal therapy (if recommended by the treating dentist prior to treatment).
