Children’s Teeth

Did you know, children start getting their permanent teeth as young as the age of 6? Once these permanent teeth are decayed there is no 3rd set of teeth to replace them. This is why a having your children practicing good home oral care absolutely is essential to help them keeping their smile nice and healthy.

It is advised that you start bringing in your child to the dentist from an early age. It is common for children not to cooperate with a dentist for their first visit, but explaining what is going to happen and preparing them for their visit will help. Often just familiarity with going to the dentist with Mum, Dad or other siblings is enough to prepare them.
